Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid CDL with a Tanker Endorsement.
  • At least 1 year of CDL driving experience or 6 months of bottle truck-specific experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meets the minimum physical requirements stipulated in Section 391.41 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and be subject to random drug testing.
  • Safely operate a tanker truck and adhere to all driving regulations.
  • Complete all driver logs and related paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections of all vehicles and equipment.
  • Safely operate water truck valves to load and unload water.
  • Properly lift and maneuver hoses on and off the tanker truck for loading and unloading.
  • Hook up and disconnect trailers as needed.
  • Ability to drive through various weather, road, and traffic conditions.
  • Must recognize, read, and understand Hazardous Materials documents.
  • Availability to work varied shifts and schedules.
  • Maintain a dependable work attendance record with minimal absences or tardiness.
